Our story
Started with one pressure washer and a borrowed van
Porchlight began in 2014 when our founder cleaned a neighbour's moss-covered roof and three more neighbours asked for the same by the weekend.
Today we are a crew of eight, but we still work the way we started. Gentle cleaning first, prices up front, and a walk round with you before we leave.
We named the business after the light by the front door. A clean house is the first thing people see when they come home.

Our founder cleaned a neighbour's mossy roof on a Saturday. By Sunday three more neighbours had asked for the same.
A second-hand van, a ladder rack and our name on the side. Riverside and Maple Heights kept us busy most weekends.
Low pressure and a plant-safe cleaner for roofs and siding. Gentler on shingles and paint, and the clean lasts longer.
Two vans and two crews, covering every town within thirty minutes of our yard.
We put our price ranges online, so you know the cost before anyone climbs a ladder.
A crew of eight, the same walk round before we leave, and a free re-wash if you are not happy.

Everything we need, on one van

Ladders up to 32 feet and roof harnesses, so steep and tall houses are no problem.
How we work
Gentle first
Soft washing protects paint, shingles and plants. We only turn the pressure up where a surface can take it.
Prices up front
The planner shows the same ranges we use. The final price is confirmed before we start, not after.
We walk round with you
Before we pack up, you check every side of the house with the crew lead.
